Piano Sight Reading Account Deletion Guide
Updated: September 17, 2026
Effective: September 17, 2026
You may request deletion of your Piano Sight Reading account and associated data at any time. This Guide explains how to submit or revoke a request, when final deletion occurs, and which information is deleted or lawfully retained.
Controller: Lumen Labs Studio, China. For assistance, email support@lumen-labs.app.
I. Request Deletion in the App
(1) Open Piano Sight Reading and sign in to the account you want to delete.
(2) Open Settings, then Account Information.
(3) Select Delete Account.
(4) Review the consequences and confirm Request Deletion.
(5) If the request is accepted, the App displays the scheduled deletion date and signs you out immediately.
The account becomes inaccessible as soon as the request is accepted. Before submitting, confirm that you no longer need immediate access to personal scores, orders, or synchronized records.
II. Request Deletion Without the App
If the App is uninstalled, you cannot sign in, or your device is lost, email support@lumen-labs.app with the subject “Piano Sight Reading Account Deletion Request.”
Please include:
(1) the account email or visible user ID;
(2) the sign-in method, such as email, Google, or guest;
(3) an Apple or Google Play order number, if available, to help verify account ownership; and
(4) a clear statement that you want the Piano Sight Reading account and associated data deleted.
Do not send a password, complete payment-card number, store password, or device verification code. After reasonable identity verification, support starts the same 30-day deletion process through the administration system.
III. Thirty-Day Revocation Period
(1) After acceptance, the account immediately enters deletion-requested status, active sessions and refresh tokens are revoked, and the account cannot sign in.
(2) Final deletion is scheduled exactly 30 days after the accepted request time.
(3) Before the deadline, you may email support to request revocation. We will verify identity again to prevent unauthorized restoration. You cannot sign in to revoke the request yourself.
(4) After an approved revocation, the account returns to active status and you must sign in again. Previous tokens are not restored.
(5) At the deletion deadline, revocation is no longer available even if the final processing job is still queued.
If a purchase is still awaiting store confirmation or entitlement settlement, the App may require that transaction to finish or be resolved by support before it accepts the deletion request.
IV. Data Deleted at Finalization
When the 30-day period ends, we delete or irreversibly de-identify:
(1) email address, display name, avatar, and sign-in identities;
(2) guest recovery credentials, refresh tokens, and other server login credentials;
(3) server-side practice records, history, progress, statistics, preferences, snapshots, and unlock records;
(4) score-import tasks, personal scores, correction versions, and associated private file references;
(5) feedback content and optional contact information; and
(6) membership, points, and other account-based benefits.
Released private files enter the existing secure cleanup process and are physically removed from object storage after no valid reference remains. The account record is reduced to a non-identifying deleted placeholder where system integrity requires a record to remain.
V. Data We May Lawfully Retain
We may retain the minimum transaction and audit facts required for tax, accounting, payment disputes, refunds, anti-fraud, security, or another legal obligation, such as a store transaction identifier, product, amount, currency, status, and timestamp. These records are separated from deleted profile information or associated with a non-identifying account reference and are not used for routine App features or marketing.
Information removed from active systems may temporarily remain in isolated backups until normal backup rotation completes. It is not restored for ordinary processing and may be accessed only for disaster recovery, security, or a legal duty.
VI. Practice Data on Your Device
Account deletion does not automatically erase practice and history records stored locally on your current device. After a successful request, the App clears pending synchronization so those records are not unintentionally uploaded to another account.
To remove local data as well, clear Piano Sight Reading storage through system settings or uninstall the App. Local deletion is controlled by your device and cannot be undone by us.
VII. Score Imports and In-Progress Tasks
Submitting deletion cancels in-progress uploads, recognition, and score-processing tasks. Those tasks do not restart automatically if deletion is revoked. Completed personal scores remain during the revocation period so they are available after an approved revocation, then are removed during final deletion.
VIII. Membership and Purchases
(1) Membership becomes unavailable immediately after the request is accepted.
(2) Its term continues during the 30-day period and is not paused or extended.
(3) After revocation, any benefit that remains unexpired becomes available again.
(4) Final deletion ends remaining benefits and does not transfer them to a new account.
(5) Deletion does not automatically issue a refund. Apple App Store, Google Play, and mandatory consumer refund rights remain available under their applicable rules.
Review the Membership Agreement before deleting an account with active benefits.
IX. Creating an Account After Deletion
After final deletion, you may be able to register again with the same email, but this creates a new account. Old scores, practice records, membership, points, and purchase associations do not automatically return or transfer. A transaction record retained for legal reasons does not make the deleted account recoverable.
X. Contact and Complaints
To submit or revoke a request, ask for its status, or report a deletion concern, email support@lumen-labs.app. You may also complain to a data-protection or consumer authority with jurisdiction under applicable law.
